My Story
I became Lifetime Television’s America’s Supernanny to help solve some of these challenges. However, to my surprise, when I arrived at the homes the parents were the ones who needed my real support and encouragement. I believe when parents are equipped, empowered and enlightened AMAZING RESULTS occur and children are TRANSFORMED.

After 29 years of working intensively with parents and families as a successful parenting expert, childcare business owner, author, speaker and mother, I will tell you that the sign of strong families is not the child’s behavior. The sign of having stronger families is doing the work.
A child spends 7800 hours at home and 900 hours at school…… Which teacher should be the most accountable? Yes, you are correct!

This 7-week LEADERSHIP LEGACY STARTER will empower you to BE A BETTER FAMILY with topics like:
Module 1: Wise Godly Leaders
As parents, teaching our children is a calling. We are chosen by God to be leaders in our families. True leadership begins within the walls of our homes. The influence of a parent on a child begins before they are born. In this module you will discover how to become the best and highest version of yourself as you raise not only your children but also yourself.
Module 2: Family Vision
This module will encourage you to create your own family vision and it will serve as a vital part of how your family functions. It will be the point of origin that families will always return to, reminding them of who they are, what they do and why they do it. Families who consistently stay aligned with their vision statement are more likely to be successful and thrive.
Module 3: Family Values
Ultimately, your family values will be specific to you and your family unit. They represent the ways your family wants to live and can be passed down from generation to generation. In this module you will discover how values can help solidify bonds among family members. Family values help children, young men and women make good choices because they have a set of beliefs to help guide them.
Module 4: Family Commandments
Although it is normal for children to break rules and test limits, family commandments help children understand what behaviors are okay and not okay. As children grow, they will be in places where they have to follow rules. In this module, the discovery of following commandments at home can help children learn to follow them outside of the home. The fewer the commandments, the better. It is best to have only as many as both parents are willing to enforce.
Module 5: Family Time
One of the most important benefits of spending time together is also one of the simplest: creating memories that will last a lifetime. Whether it’s playing a game together, attending an event, going on vacation or just sitting in the living room or around the dinner table talking and laughing, positive memories are beloved possessions that give family members a sense of belonging and can help reinforce the importance of family. In this module you will determine that time to a child or family member is spelled L.O.V.E.
Module 6: Family Discussions
Why is it so important that moms, dads, and children talk to one another? First, a theological reason. Speech is a divine gift. As such, it’s an important part of what makes us human. Through deep and meaningful talk, we become bonded at a level that simply isn’t accessible to creatures of any other species. In this module, you will discover the importance of having authentic, vulnerable open conversations with children of all ages.
Module 7: Family Legacy
To some legacy means their family genealogy and history. To others, it is a list of things that have been accomplished or lessons of life that were handed down to them. During this final module you will be inspired to live a life in such a way that when you are gone you are remembered not for what you had... but for who you were.
